Brush Out Grounds After Each Use

Use a soft brush to sweep out residual grounds from the grinding chamber and catch cup. Flip the grinder and tap gently to dislodge stuck particles.

Remove and Clean Burrs

Unscrew the inner burr. Use a dry brush to clean burr surfaces and the Morse cone shaft. Wipe with a dry cloth. Do not soak in water — prevent rust.

Recalibrate After Cleaning

After reassembling, turn the adjustment ring to the lock position (zero point), then open to your desired grind setting. Test-grind 2–3g of coffee to verify consistency.

How do I adjust the grind size on the Kinu M47?
Turn the adjustment ring at the bottom of the grinder. The Morse cone system allows stepless adjustment — clockwise for finer (espresso), counterclockwise for coarser (pour over, French press). There are no clicks — you can fine-tune to the exact micron.
How do I clean my Kinu grinder?
Remove the inner burr by unscrewing it. Use a soft brush to sweep out residual coffee grounds. Wipe the burrs with a dry cloth. Do not rinse burrs with water (unless lightly wiped and dried immediately). Clean after every 2–3kg of coffee ground.
